Long time ago, there never was paper and there never was any issue about running out of paper because in the first place, there was none. Then there was the advent of paper where people learned to write their ideas and viewpoints so that they can remember somehow the process of thinking that they did. In the process, paper became so significant not just to those who go to the office but also to the student and long time ago; there was no glossy or super white paper and or bond paper. Everything was plain and simple.
Finally, there was a great need for change and manufacturers had to a lot of virgin paper but this was somehow opposed by the government especially in the time and place of the United States. The government supported the move of mixing recycled paper in the items they sell or in the products that they market. It was a bit hard though because the mills would not even approve of the recycled paper so they would buy the milling machines that do the recycled paper.
Of course, time also passé and things had to change. People somehow patronized the different kinds of recycled paper but not that much. What they still look for especially in the offices was the virgin paper which looked clean and good to use. But the truth is, a recycled paper is also good to use. But in the early year, many people also complained about the quality of the papers and that they had worries on the mixing of ink in the recycled papers. Soon, the manufacturers with the convincing power of the government also tried to find a way to make the recycled paper in good quality. In the last decade, manufacturers already started the production of good quality recycled paper and most of them already looked like the virgin paper.
There was also the proliferation of colored and designed recycled papers and that was to lure more people to use recycled paper. This of course was done not because the manufacturer liked it but because they saw that it was also possible to have another product which can give income yet still environment friendly. Governments around the world are also giving orders if not requesting many paper manufacturers to adopt this kind of recycling process for their products so that they too can contribute to the care for the environment and at the same time lessen the garbage and waste that the manufacturing produces. People are also becoming more open with this suggestion and are currently treating the product as almost like the virgin paper for their white paper, bond paper, and even copy paper.
This is then like the revolution of the paper that many people should get used to and many people should adopt. There are many ways to care for the environment and this is just one. Perhaps, more can be gotten from this process if only all people will help and participate.
